West Side COMMUNITY House
All Projects > Multi-Housing :: Hospitality > West Side Community House
A one-hundred-year-old community house converted into a nineteen unit apartment building serves to accommodate the growing population of the Ohio City neighborhood. Beyond the living spaces, residents and neighbors have access to a coffee shop on the first floor. Also, each unit is equipped with bike storage with access to a workshop area and bike share on the lower level. The renovation of this historic 1904 building includes all new finishes, fixtures, and appliances. Green Communities standards & criteria were incorporated into the project’s design & scope to dramatically improve the building’s energy consumption.
