CITIZENS EAST CAMPUS - CLEVELAND, OH
To accommodate the growing student body at Breakthrough School's Cleveland Academy East, a three-level, 53,671-square-foot addition was constructed to provide additional classrooms, offices, and an ADA-compliant ramp at the front entrance. The project also included retrofitting a sprinkler system in the existing building and the new addition. Utilizing Lean construction methodology, the project was fast-tracked, breaking ground in May after school let out and completing in time for the school board to resume operations before the new school year commenced in August. This efficient approach ensured that the addition was fully operational and ready to meet the demands of the expanded student population as planned.
