Long-standing client Life Storage engaged Fiorilli Construction to provide design-build services for evaluating the preliminary drawings and project feasibility of a new three-story self-storage complex in Cincinnati. The project involved determining the most economical way to construct the first story of the new four-story building, which required 3-hour rated construction for all structural elements, including the second floor slab and its supports. The upper three stories and all non-structural elements on the first floor were standard unprotected self-storage construction, with steel framing for the floor over the office and CMU for the elevator and stair enclosures. Fiorilli Construction provided building cost assessments for three different construction options, including detailed pricing for all associated trade divisions, to ensure the project's feasibility and economic efficiency.
